Like legal boot camp for small businesses – owners will attend three-hour courses designed to sharpen their legal I.Q. around a number of topics, followed by the opportunity to meet one-on-one with experts for individualized consultations, where attorneys determine clients’ legal needs and, when appropriate provide advice and counsel on various legal topics. Matters for clients who meet our eligibility criteria and require further legal assistance may be placed with pro bono counsel.
Join us for a Small Business Legal Academy on June 22nd from 5:30-8pm!
In partnership with Inclusive Action for the City, Public Counsel will be presenting a webinar on Zoom and Facebook live and you will have the opportunity to meet 1 on 1 with a lawyer for individual questions and legal advice. The webinar will cover how to choose the best entity (sole proprietorship, LLC, corporation, etc.) for your business and tips about negotiating and entering into business contracts. After the presentation, small business owners can meet with a lawyer 1 on 1 via Zoom or over the phone. For more information, see this flyer. You can sign up for the event by clicking here.
